[MOD] Slower Rebel Fleet

Download Slower Rebel Fleet v1:

This mod reduces the speed of the Rebel Fleet. This gives you more time to check out each sector before the Rebel Fleet arrives. If you plan your route right and you are lucky, you can check out most of the locations in each sector.

For balancing purposes, the fleet will move much faster when they discover your position. When the fleet is right behind you, it's best to do everything you can to avoid being discovered.

Note that this mod is best played on the Normal difficulty.

I created this mod because I got bored with the vanilla game and wanted a more lasting game. If you are looking for the same thing, then this mod is for you!

Oops, haha! Yeah, I guess that's a bit redundant. It's is a leftover from another mod. Well anyway, I'll repack it without the resource.dat file.

im just trying to figure out at what speed did you set the rebel fleet... but im only few minutes in atm

well i pretty much cleared the first sector, no rebel fleet, and it "might" just be luck but i somehow have much more guns lying around than usual

EDIT: scratch that, they just appeared much later than usual

I figured the first sector would be the "newbie" sector. So I made it so the fleet is a bit slower there compared to the other sectors.

I didn't touch the loot, that's just the game doing its usual random stuff.

In data.dat, there are files that are called "events". They contain events, which are basically triggers. One of the things they can do is set how far away the Rebel fleet is. This is done by the command "modifyPursuit amount".
