Subset Games Forum

First off, I love this game.. don't get me wrong. I refuse to play "easy" mode and I'm relatively green, so you can imagine I die A LOT.
I understand the spirit of keeping this Roguelike and not letting you save and continue all the time, but can we please have some permanency to creating the ships and their crew names? I don't mind starting over, but It gets really tedious to recreate those every single time I play.

If you "restart" when you lose, you keep the same crew.

You could also in theory save/exit instantly in the first sector and copy your save file. Of course this would make every first sector layout the same (though I think random stuff will still be random) but the rest of the game (including what future sectors are... I THINK) should all be different.
