Subset Games Forum

I love FTL, i cant wait for the new expansion to be released. I was looking for other games like FTL, with Ship/Base Management. Ive seen a few around. StarMade, Ur-Quan, Stuff like that. I wanted to see what the community here likes and what games they think are similar. Let me know. Thanks.

There's Weird Worlds which partly inspired FTL, and it's precursor Strange Adventures in Infinite Space. SAIS is available free from the website.

The Mandate looks promising.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Im looking for a game where you can manage your ship/upgrade it and stuff like that. Im not looking for a Soase type game. I also seen Starpoint Gemini 2 but it got some pretty bad reviews. I just bought the X1,X2,X3 series as i was told its one of the best space sim type games. Any other suggestions would be AMAZING since the Steam sale has tons of indie games right now.

I've been working on a game that shares some FTL features. Rather than flying a ship you manage a space station, the oxygen control scheme was heavily influenced by FTL, the rest is a bit more like Prison Architect or Dungeon Keeper.
