Steam achievements?

Hi i was just wondering if there was any plans to add in steam achievements. The game has achievements built in...seems weird you wouldn't just go the whole way and make them official. It was probably one of the reasons i played binding of isaac for as long as i did so it would be nice to see them on this.

The devs had some trouble implementing the Steam API, if I remember correctly, so I don't think Steam achievements will be coming soon.

Oh really? That is a shame.
Nevermind it's still a good game. Not the end of the world.

Figured I'd give this a bump just in the hope i might get a dev notice it. I know theres only two of em but i feel lucky. ;]

How will getting them to notice this thread help if they want to implement it but have technical problems preventing them to do so?

I hope we get the steam achievements at one point in the future. I would love to smash them to bits and have 100% completion on FTL, achievements motivate me to play more

Even if it isn't Steam achievements, is there any way to review the achievements you've unlocked in the game? I can't find anything.
