(sugestion) some ideas for further development after release

only 4 consoles?
there are 8 main systems that require power and 3 subsystems. it seems silly to me that less than half of them have a console. it is my belief that it would add a lot of depth and additional strategy to the game if we had more consoles for our crew to man.
for example
drone control: could increase drones rate of fire.
med bay: could be an additional heal boost like additional power. (freeing up power for other systems)
door control: to actually control doors. possibly the crewman would try and vent fires for you automatically if there within X rooms from an airlock. or make doors more difficult for the AI to break threw.
sensors: for sensors to work properly you should have a man manning the screens and relaying what he sees, possibly synergy with evade when a pilot is also on console. (he relays info on incoming projectiles)
i bring these up because im sure not everyone is going to want to keep crew around to seemingly just stand around for the most part. and im also willing to bet not everyone is going to want to use them just for teleporting and occasionally fire fighting, anti boarding action, repair duties.
also for enemy ships i have not yet seen any enemy ships use any internal doors other than the basic doors. it would be interesting if your crew had to fight there way threw the doors of an enemy ship as well.
anyway these are just my random thoughts after watching a lot of you tube videos.
