I did it! I finally beat the game! I don't even know what to say, this game normally hates me but suddenly decided to bend-over and let me do whatever I please with it.

I took only ten damage against the rebel flagship: two during the first battle, three during the second, and five during the third and final. I didn't even have to pay attention; just deployed my droids, aimed my ion and laser at its shields, and cloaked when it fired those missiles at me. To be honest I feel that anti-ship droids fire too quickly.

I got too much scrap and wasted some of it on subsystems. Still had a lot left over. Also got a lot more items than I normally do -- even had to sell extra droids, pegasus missile I never used (honestly I only needed my ion), and got the droid recovery augmentation twice.

Oh, four shields with a top-tier crew-member (30% faster) and the augmentation (another 15%) is absolutely wonder. Having 45% evade and a defense droid on top of that (and cloak right before I entered the last sector) was icing on a quiet, serene trip through Candyland. 10/10, would Torus again.

was the part of the boss fight I had the hardest time with and lost 3/4 of my crew, but I won! Now it is time to go play Normal mode. I only really used a Hull Laser and a Heavy laser. One took out the shields, the other pounded them into submission.

I almost got the Boss down on his third version, but I forgot to repair and ended up paying for it...

Congrats! I still remember how I felt when I beat it for the first time legitimately.
