I'm just curious - why developers don't want to sell access to beta for persons, who missed the KS? I'm absolutely ready and willing to pay for access in beta, i know what i will get, and i will not complain, but still, there is no such option =( Why this world is so cruel? =))))

Because setting up a payment system for letting people buy into the beta would slow down finishing the beta and just selling the finished product to everyone.
You have to remember, FTL is made by two people. (Err, three? Counting the music guy?) Both of whom are actively involved in trying to finish the game.

I was wondering this as well. I guess we have to wait until next friday either way. If only I didn't miss so many Kickstarters! Until then, I will just imagine myself exploring space.

haha, interesting perspective. Betas are for bugs, not for gameplay normally, so "selling" access to a beta is kinda counter to the point. (Minecraft did alright with it...but it is weird)
I know how you feel though. I kickstarted it at the $10 level and kept getting tempting emails and updates about the beta which I didn't have access to...talk about teasing.
