My computer crashed mid-session and my entire profile with highscores and ships unlocked - everything wiped. I didn't have all the ships unlocked, but I did get a few good ones done.

I've read a bunch of stuff over the past hour or so regarding cheating, but there seems no way to bring my ships back - although I'd also prefer my high-scores and stats too.

Is there a backup somewhere or anything like that ?

Any help appreciated.

Check out the Savegame Editor. I don't know if there are any backups (I didn't buy it on Steam and manage my own files but others may be able to help you if you bought it there) but if all else fails you can go into your profile and unlock all the ships you had previously unlocked.

And don't worry too much about the stats. Many times I've considered wiping mine out just so the screen changed on occasion
