Are you going to do something with FTL? Like, ever?

I'm curious, are you ever actually going to do something again that isn't merchandise? Let's make more clothing! And Legos, and badges, and posters and things and stuffs and... I 'unno FTL coffee! Drink what your crew drinks! Instead of you know, giving the game resolution options, additional ship types, new missions, maybe even an actual campaign *Gasp* :o. To me it just seems like you have abandoned the game, which is a shame because it's a great game.

While I'd love an FTL2, the programmers have no obligation or need to make one. Anybody who makes a game this great should be starting their own company and churning these things out as quickly as possible but it is very possible that they simply have other plans.

I actually haven't noticed much FTL-themed merchandising. I might buy FTL coffee if it tasted good and wasn't too expensive.

Why are resolution options needed? Game looks perfectly fine to me. Additional ship types? Take a look at the mods section. New missions? Ditto. And a campaign.. huh I was under the impression that you found that option when clicking on 'New Game'.

As 5thHorseman said, the programmers are under no obligation to provide more when they've already provided a fantastic and complete package. You seem to be mistaking this two-man effort for a massively-budgeted AAA DLC-fest.

If nothing else, you'd stand a much better chance of someone listening to your point and taking your ideas on-board if you didn't just swan in and act like a jerk with an aggressive post - geddit?

And don't you dare mock my FTL t-shirt. It's great.

I'm hoping that they make some more t-shirts. I'd love to see more options.

Pretty sure OP was being sarcastic and doesn't want more merch. He wants DLC! *cough*

Indeed - just got mine yesterday - it's soft, it's one of the few things in my wardrobe that isn't black... and if you don't love the Kestrel, you're basically just a horrible, horrible human being.
