I was in the last sector, I guess the "8"th.
There I have fought against one rebel fleet ship.
I could only click on wait and my ship moved even though.
I had more than enough fuel.
On half the way there came a messege, that the rebel fleet has been at the federation base and the game was lost.

What did I wrong?

You took too long to fight the enemy flagship. If you jump all over the place and do not attack the enemy flagship, the game will end because it had reached your base and destroyed it.

I had won against the first enemy rebel ship.
After that I guess there was no other rebel ship.
I just moved through the 8'th galaxy without controling where I fly and I needed to press several times wait, but moved.

When you beat the rebel ship the first time, read the text and watch the screen. It doesn't blow up, it escapes! You have to go fight it again.

Also, while the WAIT button is there, you don't have to press it.

The ship you are looking at is not yours. It is the flagship, and your ship is in the bottom right corner of the screen, next to the beacon that says 'Base'.

Start a new game and this time, when you get to sector 8 read everything on the screen and note where your ship is instead of thinking the flagship is your own.
