Our lasers were almost charged up. The rebel flagship had only two points of health with no shields. And then... it regenerated its supershield. But we didn´t give it up. In several seconds we pierced through the supershield and tore that thing apart. It was done. My ship was a wreck, several missiles sealed our fate... but it was DONE. We gave Federation chance to survive, we accomplished our mission, and now we can all rest in peace. Triko, Varnas, Davion, Nazia, Sambo, you were the best crew I could imagine. I am sorry.

I roleplay too much. In short, I was fighting final boss and we killed each other. I can´t believe it happened to me two times in one day. Did it happen to anyone else? Game actually counts it as a win.

Never happened to me, but that's pretty epic. It makes sense to count it as a win since your mission is to destroy the final boss, not survive.

Yes, it happens sometimes, there have been a few other threads about it. Note that the reverse is (or was?) also possible: the boss destroys you while your missiles are on their way, and explodes while you are already floating in space... in that case, you lose.

Aww, that's sad. That should be a win, too.

Anybody ever destroy the Flagship with their entire crew on board? Who wins then?

Really? So it´s about who dies first?
And sorry for creating topic that was already here. I am new here so I don´t know what is here and what isn´t, and I am too lazy to read entire forum
