Playing with constant freezes

My MBP has some weird freeze issue and while I do like perma-death, I always lose all progress in those weird freezes. And I can't even keep doing Save+Quit because that's a one off.

So, there are edge cases for poor people with unreplicable freeze issues like me that require saved games
