Redemption of the Vortex, or how I discovered flame weapons

At first 'i thought the Vortex was a piece of rusted engie junk, but after a rocky begining, I got my hands on a few more engies and a rockman, and also the fire beam and fire bomb.
Now, I never thought I'd have much use for flamers, but after ionizing the enemy shields with the heavy ion, I discovered how easy it was to capture an enemy ship without ever boarding it

Felt sorry for that mantis.....
As for the rebel flagship - took it out without getting hit !
Vortex, you won a warm spot in my heart, as well as fire weapons
