Hey gang- purchased the game via steam.......any way to transfer the license to a standard license (for ease of modding on a mac)?

The Mac procedure for installing the modloader is really complex.

I don't know how to answer. Does steam include PC/Mac/Linux versions or is it just one? Because the website and GoG include all three. EDIT - GoG has no linux version yet.
And yes, a Steam version can be modded like the others.

There is no "standard" license. Just three companies selling the same game (Steam, GOG, Subset Games). Modding works exactly the same for all versions, the license has nothing to do with modding.

Well, I just bought another copy via the FTL site. It's only 8 bucks after all!
