I was currently playing a game, when I randomly decided to give the rebels a visit. In the second sector. You can guess what happened, but at one hull damage I did something weird. I decided to send a Zoltan and an Engi (Both on near dead HP) to the other ship. My ship exploded, but my Zoltan and Engi continued to fight. After about seven seconds of micro-managing a random run, I was inevitably destroyed.
But I got game over only when my crew on the other ship died. What would've happened if I had killed the crew, would I then get game over? Or would I take over their ship?

You cannot take over enemy ships (we'd all love to btw). It would have been game over for you. Your ship is part of the mission to deliver the vital intel on the Rebels, it must survive.

If i'm about to die on the boss, I like to teleport over my entire crew. Of course, it never grants me a victory as the game just ends there. ):

For my first victory, both ships got destroyed. I didn't get the achievement for beating the boss, but I did get my win.
