I think I would prefer If it was just better hinted in the encounter what you were missing rather then reducing the requirements.

At least one has 33% chance to appear. Luckily you can trigger it multiple time in a sector. For me it took 5 occurences before I got it.

Whats the new requirements for the mantis and slug ship then? anyone worked it out?
I never seem to run into the mantis event in the home systems after around 35 run through's ive had it about once is it chance based or always there?

I still don't have the mantis ship either. Somewhat frustrating. I just keep restarting after failing to find it in a mantis homeworld.

Oh dude unlocking all the ships is fantastic. All your mates on-board drop their pants and rip off their tops and just start doing it. HOURS OF IT!
