Profile Wipes ? Do they happend randomly and when did that happen ? I thought that we could keep the savedata forever(or did you start with a new profile ?)

I've made a new profile for AE, to be better able to track stats and to once again enjoy unlocking. My profile from classic FTL was
kind of completed.
However, unintentional
profile wipes are a
real thing. Happened to me twice, which may be world record
The latest patch may have taken care of the issue, though.
