I used slipstream to unpack my FTL files and while doing so I get this message.
Code: Select all
Error extracting dats: java.io.IOExeption:
InnerPath already exists:
audio/waves/weapons
I have these mods installed so I can look how they work:
RWP-AE
RWP_EW-AE
C&C Weapons
MLAS Mod Pack (weapon pack)
Sleepz Wepz
Lanius in stores
Better Planets and Backgrounds
FTL Captain's Edition
CE Resource Pack
CE BPaB Compatibility Patch
CE Additional Music Addon
Montauk CE
TS Cloak Add-on
Can I not have mods in FTL when I extract the dats, or is it just a bug with one of the mods?

Definitely not normal. How do you mean, though? Can't check more than one, errors, crash?

The one at the end will always have 'priority', so when you try loading any similar ones, they may get overwritten completely.. Have you tried some other combination to make sure that's really the problem?

I try to patch one, and one more, and one more but it's always the last one ...
what ever I try ... the last one.

Yes, a translation will, understandably, replace a whole file, so it overwrites (the clobber thing you see) anything else that went into it (like events.xml, a very common file to mod) before. If you were to load the translation first (on the top), many mods should still work, only replacing the parts relevant to them (in english, though it doesn't really matter for something like no fleet).

Or maybe Slipstream hasn't needed an update in a year because it works just fine?
Because it's hardly dead.
