What do you mean? If you mean for running the program, then no, you only need one of the packages available at the
releases page, the one appropriate for your system (eg. if you're on 64-bit Windows with 32-bit Java, you only need to download the
Superluminal.Win-32.v2.1.2b.zip package, and nothing else).

Great Update!
Suggestion : maybe a system where you can click "install in FTL" instead of using Slipstream Mod Manager.

Is there a way to edit the room images?

Select the room and there's an option to change the room image below the assignments. If you want to edit it, you need to make it yourself.

Make sure that your images are 32-bit PNG. FTL is very picky about image format.

TimberKnight is also experiencing this problem.
You have to have the manipulation tool (the triangle) selected, and then right click to set the system.
I just tried that, even that still wont work.
I'm having the same problem as them (I think).
I can go into the dropdown menus to see the station assignments and see select, assign, unassign, etc. but when I click one of the options the dropdown menu closes and nothing happens.
The same exact thing happens with crew assignments - dropdown opens but won't trigger response.
Keyboard navigation doesn't work either, so it isn't a clicking problem.
Running Windows 10 64-bit with the SL2 v2.1.2b 32-bit (64-bit wouldn't run even with 64-bit Java (idfk)), also tried 2.1.2a for the heck of it and same deal.

The werid thing about this bug is that while it is exclusive to Windows 10, it doesn't manifest itself consistently -- for example, I couldn't reproduce it on my Win10 machine. Because of this, I can neither investigate it nor file a bug report about it to the team developing the GUI library the editor uses...
Hm. Thought up some potential leads:
- Did you upgrade to 10 from 7 or 8, or is it a clean Win10 install?
- Do you have touchscreen enabled? If so, try disabling it.
