While it sounds awesome, it requires a bit too much effort to get working properly, especially for one mod. No other FTL mod I've seen requires that much work to get running. It's like using a nuclear reactor to power a toaster.
Of course others will have actual advice but in the meantime, just don't worry about EL not working. Everything else works fine.

FYI, if anyone is using the profile editor to add crew, I posted a rough guide in the tool's thread on which bytes to edit in 'continue.sav' to change their outfits.

I think there's a bug with the EL Captain's Edition. If I install it the game doesn't even start.

How many times will those questions be asked about Endless Loot?
If you install Endless Loot and it doesn't work, check Troubleshooting on the first page.
If you follow the instructions and it still doesn't work... don't use Endless Loot.
I apologise for the large font but perhaps someone might glance at it and sop asking such questions. I like the idea of Endless Loot but its execution is too advanced for my tastes.

the game work perfectly, only that work just the captain edition, not the endless part of the mod
i ask if the load order work fine, or if there are something missing to make it work properly

By the way Sleeper Service, you know that Slug event that shuts off your medbay and sends guys on your ship to fix it? in the vanilla game, it also shuts down most of your Clone Bay. Looking at the code, it seems only the medbay is affected. Intentional or should the Clone Bay be affected as well (or does it also count as a medbay in terms of listing things?)

The EL "fix" doesn't involve installing anything. Unfortunately it is not 100% successful but it can also adversely effect your entire machine. With or without the /3GB switch, Windows allocates the same amount of ram, evenly divided between application space and kernel space. All the switch does is tell the memory manager that applications can cross the boundary and use some of the ram allocated for the kernel. The danger here is you can potentially run out of space for memory mapping (drivers, etc.) in the kernel leading to system instability.
So thanks for reposting the big red text but it is not a sufficient fix and those that are less technically inclined may not realize that short of rewriting FTL to optimize asset loading, there isn't much else that can be done.
In my opinion, FTL should only load assets when they're needed instead of loading everything up front. A machine that can play WoW or Skyrim should not crash due to malloc() errors on a game like FTL. It's simply trying to put too much into ram that isn't necessary.
