Another small update, integrating more of Ravens vintage ship images.
CE Resource Pack 1.268
- R4V3-0Ns Pirate versions of the vintage Rebel ships added
- R4V3-0Ns Civ and Civ pirate version of the slug ships added
CE Update 1.268
- Fixed a problem that prevent Advanced Navigation AI from working in events
- Changed the way evading Rock Rammships is presented
- Fixed a problem with the pirate version of the Rebel Pusher class
- Vintage Rebel ships can now be in the hand of pirates (hulls by R4V3-0N)
- Some Slug ships can have their vintage "civ" design from early development (hulls by R4V3-0N)
- Ravens name fixed
Also there is this now:
CE Artillery Crash Workaround by Noobjuice
Optional. Let's you recover saves in which you bought player ship artillery, allowing you to continue the run. See the mod thread for details on how that works.

Is there any way to install CE but revert to vanilla sprites? Does Rockman's Portrait reversion work?

I updated it just recently to work with the new version of CE, but some of the new additions will also be reverted, like the different shapes of Rockmen and Slugs. And some of the different colors for other crew. I will get on adding those in eventually. But I somewhat figured that people wanting the Vanilla Portraits might also want the Vanilla style crew. Is that a correct assumption?

Mathew said on reddit earlier in a discussion that he doesn't want to make another "AE" like patch for FTL as it'll quickly turn into one of those situations like a movie series that keep making more and more sequels that are pretty poor.
(to be honest it's hard to top FTL up isn't it?)
However that doesn't exclude making the game more modder friendly or something along those lines or minor changes and additions. (ie add 2 new weapons. Or a bit of coding for us to do something we couldn't before ie make our own race)
Btw. I was just thinking about this and I realised that the zoltan, slug, crystal, Lanius, Federation, and Engi ships that are new in CE (besides Stations). I feel tempted to do something about that.

Hey, could someone tell me where to find the music that is used in the hazard sectors? I really like it but I can't find it anywhere. Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

You can find all the track listings in the description for the Additional Music, and the files by opening up the Additional Music addon.
The one you're looking for is probably Pontilhao (Overpass), by Rod Brandao, as part of the score for a zombie movie whose name I forgot.

) for this one, but I'm pretty sure this thing is not supposed to be classified as a weapon.

Don't know if it's something that went wrong with CE or with the Randtrell mod so... I'm posting it in both.
It promises to be a pretty fun run though, enjoying it while it lasts.

This might be the wrong place to ask this, but I'm experiencing a bug and I'd like some help. When I load up CE, none of the weapon sprites appear (CE and vanilla), not even in the hanger. Also, some of the playable ship models glitch out and have large grey squares covering up parts of the ship. I am using Slipstream, and I have installed the resource pack and the mod in the same patch, installing the resource pack, patching, then installing the main mod as well. None of it works. This looks like an awesome mod, but this glitch is quite annoying and really ruins the feel of the game. The projectiles work fine, but it just looks like things coming out of thin air in front of my ship and hitting a system or taking down a shield. If anybody could help me fix this, that would be great. Thanks.

You're supposed to patch both of them at once. Every time you hit "patch", the first thing SMM does is completely reset to vanilla, so when you patch FTL Captain's Edition on your second pass, you're also unpatching the resource pack.
