There's currently no way to convert an existing enemy ship to player ship or vice versa. You'll need to remake it by hand.

I've been trying to use this tool to add some new ships, but I've run into a few issues. Whenever i try to assign a system to a room, it does nothing. My rooms are all standard sizes (2x2 or 1x2). I'm not sure what the problem here is, no errors are thrown, nothing, the system just isn't assigned. Also, when I try to add crew members, adding to the slot corresponding to the button does nothing and sometimes adding to a slot further down the list adds to the first slot and so on. This may only be on my side because my friend had none of these issues but I have tried re-downloading to no avail.

I tried using superluminal, made my own ships in photoshop and everything, but whenever i try to add systems or crew, it just doesn't do anything. I click on it, sometimes crew is added, but systems are never added. What's the issue? How can i fix it? thanks in advance

That's weird. What system are you using, and what Java version do you have installed?
...sometimes adding to a slot further down the list adds to the first slot...
That's actually intended behaviour.

That could be the cause of the problem, seeing as the editor is using a non-standard Java library for its GUI.
*sigh* guess I'll have to update it, after all, or release a Windows 10-compatible version... It may take several days until I get to it, though.

I have no problems using Superluminal (32-bit) on my 64-bit Windows 10 though, also using the latest version of java 8 update 66 (32-bit).

I cannot get this to work completely on Windows10 64 bit. Le sigh. I tried the 32bit workaround like mentioned before me, but to no avail. Halp, oh great and wonderful magician!
-Edit
After much fiddling with uninstalling java and re-installing java I still cannot get any form of Superluminal to function for choosing systems for rooms. Damn you, Windows10!
