Oh wow, that wasn't up to date at all too. It's on 1.26 now.

Sleeper Service wrote::oops: Sorry for all the confusion. The download links have been fixed and the link for the resource pack will lead to the intended file now. The base mod link also leads to the current version of the mod now.
Came back to say thanks! :D

So much has been updated!
Feeling a bit out of it now, but tempted to try my hand at making a ship again next break I have- are there any specific things to note to make it CE compatible?

Player ship? Nope, that will be easily compatible with CE. There is the question if you want to give it CE assets. Then it would require CE to work.

I've had a lot of instability with Captain's Edition (specifically Infinite) recently. The game crashes a lot. I basically get one every thirty minutes. I notice they happen more often with nebula encounters when Long Range Scanners tell me there's a ship there. At first I figured it was the ship I was running (as I was tinkering with a multi-artillery ship and we all know that glitches) but I patched down to vanilla, reinstalled and did some runs in a Red-Tail and it's still doing it.

I want to make it clear I made sure in light of the recent DL link confusion to have the right version of everything.

The current download links should be the correct ones. There is still some problem with nebula jumps, but such regular crashes are unusual. For me it runs smoothly, so it does for the let's players I follow. So I'm not sure whats the problem there.

Had to remove the additional music addon from mine after the compatability patch fix. There's one piece of music in that package with a droning sound in the background that sounds so much like feedback it sets my teeth on edge and forces me to turn down my sound so I can't hear it. Most annoying.

Can you point out which one it is? You can listen to the audio files outside of the game. Because that sounds concerning.

They sound different outside the game, depending on what I use to play them, but I believe it's either bp_MUS_CansBATTLE.ogg or bp_MUS_CansEXPLORE.ogg

As I said though, very different sound outside the game, depending on what's playing them. VLC sounds the worst, while Windows Media Player Classic sounds the best.
