Some of the ships will have little arrows to their right, whichever ship yours replaces is the one you click, then select the name of your ship.

I've been trying to make just a custom ship, and i'm using the latest version (2.1.0d), but I've been having a lot of trouble with the manning glow images. For one, they don't always (and by that i mean they almost never) get placed on the station that i'm actually trying to edit. (say I'm assigning glow X to the pilot room, glow X would end up in the weapons room) and another problem is that when i set a specific glow to one room, all the other rooms are assigned to the same glow. It's really annoying and has completely halted any progress on me trying to make my ship

Glows are never aligned automatically by the editor; they get placed roughly in the center of the tile at which the station is placed. You then have to manually position the glow image so that it is aligned with the interior image. You can do this by using the Manipulation Tool, selecting the glow image, and nudging it using arrow keys or the arrow buttons in the sidebar. Also use View > Zoom Window to help you.

That is weird, though I don't really understand what's happening. Could you elaborate?
It might be possible that you are mistakenly replacing the default glow images, which would cause your custom images to show across ALL stations in the game, because they all use the same set of images.

Well...it would seem that i can't re-create the problem i was having last night. Perhaps i was doing something wrong, but i was adding a new glow set from the menu, and using my own images so...i don't know. What ever it was it's not doing it anymore. thanks anyway though :)

Apparently the rooms don't work right. Which is weird, because I know the rooms work right on The Hand of Death, but apparently failed to load.

Could not find roomLayout entry for 'room_engines_2' (Engines) in rooms.xml
This error happens when there's no corresponding roomLayout entry in rooms.xml for the interior image that is assigned to a system.
It's odd that this happens, though, since the Hand of Death uses room_engines_3, not 2...

Yeah. It's kind of strange to me since you and RAD-82 helped me with The Hand before. The other load attempts were for all five versions of the Federation Cruiser A, which were all handled by Sleeper--I trust what he's doing, so....

One more strange thing is that with all these mods installed, I can't view the Type C versions of each ship in Superluminal. They just don't show up in the "open ship" dialogue. But I can play them just fine.
