(It's Mrs. Soong, :P)

"Tell her... Tell her Thinker Feds Arsenal Rebels. She'll understand completely."

"Well, as far as backstories go, I'm not too keen to tell you mine. If you want a hint though, all I'm saying is Lucifer," Arkangel said over the comms. "Also, Targon, if you wouldn't mind sparing me a moment, can you come to the cargo hold? I have an important job for you." He finished his turkey salad and headed over to the hold while reading the Coalition book Dragon left behind. Step 1: Haul the Antimatter pulse drives to the desired location of installation. Step 2: Fasten the drive to the ground, ideally 3/4- A shiver went down his body. I just don't understand fractions! Why would you want to kill 3/4 of someone when you can kill 1? He carried on nonetheless, waiting for Targon to arrive.

(RP off)
Arkangel's nemesis, fractions, finally shows it's face! Also the reason I'm keeping Arkangel's backstory a secret is because it fits him. That's also why I put 'None' in the secrets section. He has secrets, but isn't too keen on telling others. But get ready for flashbacks hinting at his origins ;)

Quintet sent the message to Mr. Soong. He wasn't sure who he was or if he could be trusted, but he knew he wasn't defenseless.
"The message was sent. I'll get back to you when he replies."
Quintet thought about how the newly earned chase would affect his plans. The next jump was the first break point, but he wasn't sure if it was in the same state it was before.
"Wait. We've been sitting here for 10 minutes and no there federation ships came. Which means... oh no. Power the jump drive! QUICKLY!"
Quintet knew what was going on. The federation knew what is was doing.

"Why-y??" Targon whined as he wrapped up his scrapping. "I was almost done! Sorry, Arkangel. I'll have to help you later." Targon quickly pushed all of the electronic parts to the ship's storage room, made sure that they were safely in storage so they wouldn't break, and went to the weapons system, just in case there was an enemy at the next beacon.

"Hey I found that rep-" Kr was interrupted by Quintet commanding everyone back to the ship. There was no time to pull the replicator out of the wall. "What's happening?" He ran back to the pirate ship and started to undock from the federation ship. "I don't have a space suit over here and it seems there won't be time to get one. Just tell me where we're going and I'll jump with this ship."

Tabitha hit the console a few times with her fist and it sparked into life. "Ok I think the ship can fly now" she said, disengaging the docked ship(s) once everyone was back onboard. "While it goes against everything I've worked for, staying alive is more important than getting better food."

She powered up the jump drive and got the ship moving. "Hang on, I'm not trusting the FTL drive to be stable after that power surge and our resident engineer disappeared into it" she said "If you see extra limbs or you're turning into a penguin, you'll know why."

"Consider this your first lesson on evading galactic pursuit. The federation is infamous for doing this. They're surrounding every beacon we can access with federation ships. It always looks like you simply have time to relax, but the moment you jump you're pelted with fire from pre-charged weapons from a horde of federation ships. If you know you're going to be chased, don't ever stop moving. Whenever we jump, we're going to have to jump again as soon as possible or else. Then we'll go from there. Keep all of this in memory, this is just one of many things you're going to have to learn now."
Quintet thought for a moment.
"Oh. And the chase dies when the federation falls, so if you want to live past this, we need to take the federation down.
Now, if you don't mind, I have some calls to make. You can trust me when I say that I found a few allies on my long pursuit."

"Yet if the Federation fails, the galaxy will be ruled by the Rebellion... their Flagship might be gone but there's still a massive fleet out there and the Federation is still on the verge of defeat from it" Tabitha said, after all, there is a chain of command. If you lose your leaders, new ones arise to continue the fight. The basics of being an officer. Someday you'll be thrown into command because someone offed your superior and you have to be ready for the responsibility.

"So no offence Quintet but I'd rather see the Federation remain in power than those xenocidal maniacs who'll no doubt upload you into one of their automated ships and send you out against your will" she added sternly. Great so now suddenly I'm complicit to space piracy. Maybe after this is all over I can please for a lighter sentence once the Federation is saved.

((Does anyone remember the original plot or was that just a ruse to suddenly have the Federation be the bad guys all along and the Rebels are somehow supposed to be the good guys in all this?))

(I think the Rebels AND the Federation are bad. Dyno will have to clarify).

((Ok Dyno, seriously I feel like I'm in one of those bad action movie plots where the bad guy needs a package delivered to Bad Guy HQ, yet as soon as the courier they hired looks at what they're delivering, the bad guys send assassins, helicopters and missiles at them. If they had access to faster transport and within their own company, why the hell did they hire the courier in the first place?
The Federation needs all available hands to rescue their trapped command staff yet you're saying they're going to and are capable of blocking every beacon with Pre-Igniters and everything?
Holy crap, why are they not out there at the Last Stand? If they need our ship to save them yet they have the firepower to destroy us, therefore they have the firepower to stop he Rebel Fleet! WHY ARE WE EVEN HERE!?))
