Kr, meanwhile, was not hearing what Quintet was saying. He was creeping around the federation ship, the lights still off, trying to find Targon to pelt him with a trainer gun. It fired balls of colored liquid that exploded on impact, covering the area with the liquid. Legend has it they were called "paintball guns" long ago. Where is that mantis? Kr looked around a corner to see Targon there, coming his way and saying something Kr couldn't hear. "A-ha!" Kr yelled as he jumped around the corner. "You are no match for Tuco's blinding liquid!" He fired several shots at the clear area of the helmet where you look out, and the lights on the sides. He quickly dashed the other way and disappeared into another room.

"SHOW YOURSELF, BLOODY COWARD!!"

Targon made his robotic arm split and ran straight into the wall. "Stupid..!" He threw off the helmet and streaked toward the area where the shots were fired. only to see him run around the corner. "He's PLAYING WITH ME- eh- wait, I thought Tuco was a human?" Targon stopped and frowned. That scar looked familiar.
"Oh." He turned around and retrieved his helmet, first scraping off the thin goop around his helmet. "Kr's back." Then he called down the hallway, "Help me scrap this ship, will you, Kr? We'll do your ship afterwards. I hope Arkangel and Tabitha can help us take what we need, and the Lanius can melt down scrap and make things easier." Targon proceeded to open up the wall and peered into it, looking for metallic goodies.

Tabitha put down the handrail/staff. "Oh. I was just about to make my way over to help bash in Tuco's head" she said before realising that they had a few ships to scrap and take materials from. "Knowing the former Captain, I'm certain his quarters or the mess hall will have one of the best food replicators one can purchase in the galaxy" she informed Targon over the comms "Then I can finally cook everyone that meal I promised... just so you know."

While everyone else was scrapping the pirate ship, Arkangel took some time reading the book Dragon left behind in the airlock and saw something astonishing. There were blueprints for everything there could possibly be, from dark matter cannons to warp drives. What I'm looking for is bound to be here, he thought to himself. After much searching, he stumbled upon the blueprints that matched the strange engine in the cargo hold. There were diagrams about it, listing the specs of the engine. Not being half bad at rocket science, he noticed that the specific impulse was through the roof. Deciding that it was about time to do something about it, he opened private comms with Sp.

"Ah, it didn't last as long as I hoped it would." Kr came back around the corner, still holding the training gun and laughing hysterically. "I had to force myself to not laugh the entire time. So what's happening with you guys? I have engaged in many glorious battles in my absence. I took two ships, slaughtering their crew in battle! If only you were there to share the fight with me. I have added to my glory of battle tenfold on this voyage. I have killed engi, human, mantis, and rockman. The ancestors would be proud of me. My honor would only increase if there was a slug also. Tonight we will dine on the finest federation rations!" He looked back at Targon, who seemed disinterested. "You seem more human than mantis, Targon."

Targon shrugged as he ripped the floor to bits, yet leaving a piece of machinery intact. He carefully cut it out and put it on the hover tray next to him. "I guess so." He replied to Kr, "I'm different from other Mantis. Having one eye is considered a threat to Rockmen, as you saw, and it also makes me disfigured. If I handed the head of my enemy over to a girl, you know she has the right to attack me."
He sighed, then pushed the hover tray halfheartedly over to the door, where the part on top of it was picked up by a mechanical arm that gently set it in a box. "Oh well. At least we'll get a meal now!" Targon brightened up. "One can get tired of raw canned meat, even as a Mantis. I hope Tabitha makes Snkkkyylyk. I can still taste that last bite of slug-processed goat with blood root gravy."

"So there's a replicator on board. I probably shouldn't touch that." Kr walked along by Targon in silence for a while. "We're you born with one eye? And a blue shell? And what hive are you from?" Kr also thought about the mantis that he had left at the station. I wonder how long she would wait for me. In the legend of Tyyyrk, he had claimed a female who waited four centuries for him. But that was long ago, and in legend.

"Just saying, if you find that replicator, bring it back here. The civilian models are designed to be easily moved though, unlike the military models which are hardwired into the ship and can be controlled from any console" Tabitha said over the comms.
"Also, no offence but Snkkkyylyk is designed for Mantis limbs and appetites. It's simple in design and doesn't use a lot of ingredients because intricate details like garnishes and spices are hard to add when your hands are claws" she added "I've already got the idea for something a lot better that'll make even a Charlie Hive Mantis envious."
And they've got the monopoly on Mantis cuisine, she thought to herself.

The FTL drive was recently ovecloacked several times, and Sp's color was going bright yellow.
He was fully focused on maintaining the drive and did not pay any attention to what was happening around him.
- No no no!
- This won't do, just won't do!
- I will fix this, yes, I will fix this.

Suddenly an enormous ION blast smashed through the ship.
The FTL drive got badly damaged from it, and became unstable.
- OH NO!
Sp's color turned dark red.
- I will not let this happen!
Sp streatched his hands towards the FTL drive and hundreds of energy streams poured into it from the hands nad then from all of Sp's body.
Then there was a bright flash with no sound and then the room was empty.
The FTL drive was letting out sparks, but was still operational.

Sorry I've been iddle for a while - I'm on vacation right now, and there was no internet here for several days.
I'll be back home in 2 days, and will be more active from then.
