Also those times when the same room gets firebombed twice in a row and your crewman dies to the second blast halfway out the door.

This is actually the opposite of a "Fuck you FTL", but today, for the first time, in two consecutive runs, I unlocked Zoltan Cruiser A, made it to the third stage of the Rebel Flagship fight, and unlocked Zoltan Cruiser B.
It's nice to have a run where things go well for a change.

Events where there's FIVE boarders. This happened to me in Sector 2. What the hell. The maximum teleporter size Is four. The computer is a cheating bastard.

They board from an unseen transport and then the ship you're fighting. What is really cheating is teleporting past your Zoltan Shield.

I wonder if it's possible to make a mod that give a blue option for those with Zoltan Shields, or if it's hardcoded?

5 boarders is not as bad as it could be. Try 2 Rockmen from a previous ship that i fled, plus an additional 3 from an event that bypasses the Zoltan shield, PLUS 2 Mantis aboard the new enemy, waiting for the supershield to be knocked down.
Ugh, RNG what are you doing to me??!

I was doing my 1st run on the Bulwark (rock ship) and I was doing fantastic. 5/8 crew (3 rocks 2 engi) and I had found a burst laser 3 while clearing out a ship. I was close to powering it when the game threw 6 mantis invaders on my ship. Seriously? They destroyed everything and I died. I was very sad.
