"That ship's trying to engage in combat! Get your weapons out, we've got an ordeal. I'll get the weapons online and begin firing. We have to destroy it quickly or else it'll really cripple us even more and we'll be sitting ducks, waiting for either federation guards or pirates. One will get us scrap, the other will sit around in an awkward silence as the FTL drive charges, and we need scrap."
Quintet scanned the other ship's maneuvers. They were planning to come in close.
"They're going to dock! I'll open the airlock they're headed for so it's oxygen drains before they get here. Should shut them down for the time being."
Quintet wheeled the repair drone into the broken room and started welding multiple things at once. This will be a perfect time to rig this how I want it to work, and this time, actually secure the makeshift gas canisters, he thought. He didn't know where any of the canisters were, but a quick item scan revealed one to be sitting on a shelf. He quickly grabbed it and continued to work.
Quintet thought over his plan. He knew that he had to avoid the Federation guards at all costs, but in case they did catch up, he had to have a way to either hide or fight, and Quintet already learned it's really hard to hide when you're not a physical object from some bad crew mutinies.
