"A bomb? Tabitha, Sp, Get that fixed this instant. If we're going to see what's going on here we need a working ship. I'll get to scanning the ships nearby."
Quintet pulled up the scanning programs to get the return from the Crew Scans. Well, Quintet thought, Tabitha turned human. That's interesting... Wait. There are other files?
Quintet glossed over the other files, finding one about each crew-member. Sp showed up as a cluster of errors and one variable saying he was zoltan, which wasn't much use. Quintet read into the scans, almost forgetting to return the area scan. In time, Quintet got back to work and found that 2 ships in the area were firing heavily over a station, which had already been cleaned of crew by their boarders. A closer look saw that both of these ships were unusually powerful, and that the fight began recently because of the lack of federation guards.

"More racist then a rebel? Hm. I'll consider that compliment, seeing as the federation's been doing the real fun genocide. Why couldn't I have been in on that? I know how to kill people...
But I digress. I had my own fun. Now hopefully we can take those ships on because it doesn't look like the winner will spare us for very long."
"There isn't good or bad. There's just insane."

Not being a bomb expert, as soon as she saw the device materialise, she immediately dived away from the console and headed for the doors. They sealed just as the bomb exploded, wrecking the entire helm and lodging shrapnel everywhere.
"Phew that was close" she said, peeking back into the room.
"Guys, the helm's going to need some serious repair once the life support systems are fixed. I don't think I can get the ship moving without some assistance" she said, taking out her multi-tool and starting work on reattaching several wires.
"I think the red one goes here..." she muttered.

Targon had heard the bomb going off and ran to the doors just in time for them to slide open.

The room was a wreck. Parts were hanging off of the ceiling and walls, debris covered the floor, and Tabitha had just gotten up and was about to attach a wire that would make the ship's power grid stop working momentarily. "N-" he began, but then he stopped himself.
Taking out the ship's power would mean Quintet might die. Wouldn't that be amazing. But then again, so many systems were running on crucial power he couldn't risk it.
"Tabitha, I wouldn't plug that in." He skittered over and took the pliers from her. "You're going to want to-" the pliers slipped and landed on his foot. "Dang it!" He cursed, then picked them up again in an awkward position. They fell again on his other foot. "Dang IT!" He yelled. "You know what, just don't plug that wire in there." He proceeded to explain how the ship wires worked.
"The green colored wires are connected to the power grid, the red ones go to the engines and that blue one is for- umm.." He paused. "I have no idea. I'd leave it." He started scooting rubble with his feet and ended up poking his bruised foot, making it bleed.
"DANG IT!"

(So, in the confusion of Chickengames and Styles posting at the same time, did Kr actually end up on another ship or is that going to be ignored?)
I've created Type C Hulls for the enemy Mantis, Slug, Rock, and Zoltan ships, and anyone can use these for a mod.
Check out the details here.

((Well Tabitha's been too busy dealing with a bomb to notice someone's gone missing... dunno about everyone else))

Tabitha picked up her multi-tool after the Mantis fumbled with it again. "You know, you could demonstrate with your own multi-tool. I think they've got the grip for your claws" she said, looking at the injuries.
"You might want to go to the medbay or wrap a big orange bandage around that. This isn't a pudding and I think the ichor might ruin the electronics."
She went to work soldering some of the wires back into position; one would have noticed however that hot metal was dripping onto her hands as she hastily soldered the wires together; yet she ignored the searing burns that it was causing.

(Well I'm going to go with it)

The ship disappeared from the beacon as Kr watched. There were more pressing matters, though. Three of the ship's crew came in and immediately started laying down fire. He tried to dodge, but one shot hit Kr in the back, another grazing his neck. The doors were locked, so he had to push up one of the bodies inside and use it as a shield. "Come at me foolish aliens! I'll kill you all!" One of the attackers was human, another was a rock, and the third engi. They exchanged fire for a while, but three against one is not good odds and the body shield was beginning to fall apart. "Come in here and make a real fight!" Kr yelled. They made no answer. Kr set his blaster to overload and tossed it in the enemie's room.

Quintet lightly piloted past the crossfire the ship was currently caught in, hoping no federation officer would come and they could handle this. They needed the scrap, and the guards might attempt to capture Quintet and bring him off the ship for what he did, and he couldn't have that. He knew what would happen to him if he were caught. It was the only thing that brought him fear.

"We need to engage the ships before i get unlucky and we take another hit. Get the piloting under minimal working order and.."
Quintet witnessed the chaos that was going on in the pilot's room. Tabitha had was attempting to repair it alone and the other person was jumping around with a bloody foot. Nothing much was getting done.
"Get out of the way! I'm powering the repair drone. I'll do it myself while piloting the ship. You two go work on.. oh, I honestly don't care!"

Tabitha said "I've just got the console back up and running" as she got onto her feet. She then looked at her hand and then winced in pain.
"And now it's time to pay attention to the burning wound..." she added, wiping the solder off her skin "So what should we do about that space station? Anger everyone inside of it as well? Piss off those Rebels?"

As soon as she said that though, one of the ships stopped firing and started taking on a course towards the ship - either they were planning to ram or were about to do a direct boarding action via the airlocks while the ship was crippled of manoeuvrability.
Uncertain of the score, she grabbed a blaster rifle and set her multi-tool for combat operations.

"Yeah, I'd better go do that OW! See you later OW!" Targon did a shuffling hop to the medbay and found the bandages Tabitha was talking about. He somehow managed to get it on his foot with his clumsy hands, preventing the bleeding. "That's better." He sighed with relief, then he went to get his tool he could actually hold. I guess I'll go repair that hull breach... He put on his respirator and limped slightly to the empty room.
Good thing it hit that one and not the room with his things and gadgets in it, he reflected. They would all be in space by now.

Entering the cracked room, Targon was almost sucked into the giant gap in the middle of the room. He quickly ran out, almost losing his bandage. That's way too dangerous for me. I'll let Arkangel handle that. He trudged off to go help Tabitha with the pilot repairs, this time better equipped.
