While Lux and Eden went to check out the station, the crew of the Pelican remained onboard to patch up the damages and check for extra rolls of duct tape to improve their jury-rigged Crystal reactor.

"So what do you think the chances are that this station will be spaghettified?" Lux asked.
Eden sighed "Considering our track record of every station we've visited being blown up or sucked into a black hole, it's likely; I doubt the crude minefield we left for the Rebels at the exit beacon would even have slowed them down much..."
Lux gave out her usual laugh "That sounds very hopeful of you"
"Well Luxanna, it seems the most unlikely things will happen under the command of your boyfriend..."
"To be fair it is his first job as a leader" Lux countered "I don't think I'd hold up as well as he does if I was put into command of a fleet..."
Eden frowned "No, but this is MY first stint as a pirate Captain and I've been holding up for years."
They then both laughed and continued their explorations of the station.

Having no need to be in the medbay anymore, Sediment explored the Scarab, now that it would be his 'home' for the next few cycles. He realized that it was docked to a station, so he decides to explore that instead. Quickly, he saw the Pelican and, not too far from it, Eden and Lux. Realizing he never actually formally introduced himself to the pair, he went up to them and decided that there's no time like the present. "Greetings. I believe we have seen each other before but have never had the opportunity to greet." He said, talking more about Luxanna then Eden. "Eden, I believe. I think we've met, helped on your runabout." He turned to the blonde girl next to her and put out his hand for a handshake, mainly because that's the only human greeting gesture he knows. "I'm Sediment, but you probably know that by now. Nice to meet you."

"Yes, you're the one with the big bounty" Eden said to Sediment "Although I hardly see the point in why you'd have a big bounty if every place you go is soon attacked by a large fleet..."
Lux shook the offered hand, although her grip of course wasn't very strong compared to the Rockman's. Eden's shake had a lot more grip to it for a Human though.
"Luxanna Jensen. Cadet Jensen... if I had graduated from the Academy, I'd be Doctor" Lux introduced herself "My father is Captain Douglas Jensen of the Federation 22nd Fleet... and his father was Joshua Jensen. He's the man the popular TV series Captain Awesome is based off..."
Eden quickly interrupted her "Don't encourage her to talk about that show. Right now everything keeps playing out like an episode she keeps bringing up."
Lux pouted "The writers had read my grandfather's book"

"I feel like that's the only thing people know me by." Sediment said, "Not that I tried to rescue my people from the hands of propaganda. Not that I escaped from my government and from the hands of many pirates like the Dread Pirate Tuco. No, people know me by my bounty and honestly, I don't blame them for that."

"Nice to meet you Luxanna Jensen, and good luck on becoming a doctor. I know for a fact that nowadays the Federation is in higher need for doctors and nurses, especially in the military. Also, I have always wondered what the non-rockman version of that show is. There is a version of it in rockman entertainment, but unlike how you describe it, Captain Awesome is a rockman who beats up aliens and saves the rockmen from invasions. Naturally everyone loves him."

"Dread Pirate Tuco?" Eden asked, her eyebrows raised "So that's what he's been up to all this time... I wouldn't have expected such a man to take up piracy considering what he knows..."
Lux said "He knows where his grandfather's treasure stash is... allegedly and both Dread Pirates Hector and Tusco are seeking him for that knowledge..."
"It's an ongoing bounty. The two will pay a lot for information on Tuco's whereabouts."

"Huh, I thought Captain Awesome was out in other places but it'd just be like dubbed or something..." Lux remarked "Then again, there are several episodes that have him dealing with Rocks and Mantis that are rather well... caricatures. Especially the Grand Inquisition."
She struck a pose and shouted "Nobody expects the Grand Inquisition!"
Eden sighed "I wonder when someone from the station will come to greet us before we wander into a restricted area... because I feel like I should do exactly that."

"Hmm. Last time I saw Tuco he was taken down by Tranquil's station, the same Tranquil that, if not died by gunshot, died by black hole. Serves him right. Anyways he went away after that, so he might be in the quarantine sector."

"Speaking of, there was an engi and a slug that I've never seen before on the Scarab, maybe they're from the station. And then there's Kira." He said nothing of her.

"Good to see ya, mateys," she greeted, holding her hand forward for a handshake. "Name's Xernia, capt'n of the Swallow. And you?"

Sediment shaked her hand back, "Greetings Xernia. I'm Sediment, the blonde is Luxanna and the green one is Eden, captain of the Pelican. I'm sure you two will get along. So are you going to show us around?"
