"Holy..." was all Tabitha had time to say before she was moved aside and out of the fighting circle.
"...Crap" she finished just as Targon's claw had seemingly split into two pieces.

She quickly scrambled to her feet and looked around for the arrogant pirate who insulted her cooking while Targon was busy dealing with the bodyguards. She had no intent of fighting the clearly superior and armoured Rockmen with her foolish meatsack body that didn't come equipped with claws or acid spit or anything taking on a person resembling a rock.

She found the pirate wasn't too far from the fight just walking away, disinterested in what he thought was a foregone conclusion. He was even lighting up a cigar in his hands.

Tabitha dashed over towards him. The pirate remarked "Oh and be sure to tear her arms off. I want to know if she bleeds..."
She tapped him on the shoulder and the man turned around to have his jaw smashed in with a blue fist.
The pirate went back several steps in surprise as Tabitha had her fists in a parrying position. She went to perform another blow while the pirate was stunned only to have him grab the fist with his hand. The sounds of servos whirring could be heard.
"Nice try" he remarked, spitting the cigar into Tabitha's face.
Cybernetic implants. That's new, she thought to herself.

Kr immediately headed toward the ship system area, where the teleporters were sold. He kept an eye on the others as he went. Who knows who could be here that the crew had beef with. He browsed the prices for teleporters and looked up to see Don Jero leaning against a wall nearby. Jero had done business with Kr before and he had taken off with more than his payment. Jero was a grayish mantis with three legs, he could be seen anywhere. Kr reached for a nearby human's knife and threw it, the knife lodging itself in the wall beside Jero's head. "Don Jero," Kr said as he approached him, "I believe you have something of mine." Jero responded: "Ah Kr, yes see I was just about to look for you."
"Then you have found me. Defend yourself!"
Kr rushed forward, then swiping at Jero's legs. Jero blocked with one claw and brought the other around to Kr's left, aiming at the head. Kr blocked and kicked Jero away. He pounced on Jero and slashed at his neck, making a deep cut on Jero's throat. Jero responded by spitting acidic saliva into Kr's face. Kr backed up, clawing at his face. Jero jumped up and they faced each other again. By now a crowd had formed, watching the fight. Jero and Kr circled each other, and Jero charged first. He swiped violently in all directions, impossible to block. Kr backed up, and faked jumping to the right, then slid left, kicked Jero and jumped on top of him, wasting no time to drive his claw through Jero's head. Looking up, Kr saw several mantis females watching. He got up, pulling his claw from Jero's face. He licked the mantis blood of his claw and slightly opened his wing covers. Taking the head of Jero, he cut it from the body and gave it to one of the females, this act said he would be back for her. He pushed his way out of the circle and saw across the station Tabitha fist-fighting a pirate, and Targon taking on two rockmen. The fun has just begun he thought. He made his way toward Targon to watch the fight.

Arkangel was cautiously hanging on the roof. His bottom half liquefied to help him stick on the roof. He oversaw the entire fight and was temporarily astounded how they don't notice a giant bloody metal claw monster on the roof. Better use this while I can, he thought.

He suddenly dropped down on one of the rockmen Targon was fighting, his claws arranged in a dagger shape underneath him - onto his head. He quickly withdrew them and faced the other rock. "You anaerobic bastard! I'll get you if it's the last thing I do!"
"That's racist," he calmly chuckled as the rock furiously swiped at him. He managed to counter all his attacks and finished him off with a slice to the neck. He then turned and dashed into the pirate Tabitha was fighting. This time however, he formed a massive spear and made one giant stab at the pirate. Let's just say he now has a head kebab.
"I know, I've been fancy with my attacks lately."
I do random stuff and surf on the fourms. That's about it.

Tabitha's arm was pushed back by the pirate as he pressed his cybernetic arm. There was a sickening crunching noise as bones broke underneath.
Suddenly, the chef had a burst of strength and the arm pushed back hard against the pirate's cybernetic limb. She twisted her broken hand and the pirate's arm followed only for then Arkangel to have run the pirate through.
"Thanks..." she said, taking a few deep breaths and looking at her twisted hand. It was in a position a hand should not be in with fingers bent backwards and mangled beyond a simple "reset the bones" job. "I'll just wrap a bandage around this and go back to the ship..." she said rather faintly.

"After all, I can't cook if my hand isn't..." she continued before collapsing.
If one looked closely at her hand, there seemed to be several pieces of metal sticking out of it and a wire, much like the pirate's arm.

"Wow. I applaud. That made for a refresher of a show. Needed something to brighten my spirits, and you just gave it to me. An honest thank you. Now then, hopefully the clobbering's done. Get of the station, let me handle this for you."
Quintet uploaded himself onto the station and ran through multiple commands. It looked like most of the self destruct features like poison gas and such had been disarmed, so he had to use something else.

Quintet broadcast to the station, threatening them to overload to the power and kill everyone if they didn't surrender and give up their wares.
"You think we'd fall for that?" The station's guards quickly replied, "Arm the weapons!"
"Yes! Of course. Shoot your own ship. I'm in the ship's code, you numskulls. Now then. Would you like a demonstration?"
Quintet heard nothing but the sound of the station arming it's heavy weaponry.
"Fine!" Quintet cut the power to the entire station. "I will open airlocks and doors one by one every 30 seconds of resistance. Currently you're at 36 and counting."
The faint sound of one airlock opening and some suffocated screams was heard from the back of the station.
"We will not surrender to you!"
Quintet simply continued to say nothing as the seconds ticked by.
"That's one minute. Another airlock has been opened. This will continue until your surrender or suffocation. I don't mind as it is, in fact, I'm enjoying this."
Quintet made sure all of the crew were on board and quickly noticed Tabitha's lack of blood.
"1:30 for you. 3 airlocks down."
Quintet opened a channel with Tabitha, quickly thinking of what to say.
"...
Are you here to destroy me?
Because hell if i'm not about ready to put up a fight."
"There isn't good or bad. There's just insane."
"Blamsauce!"

A few civilian vessels began deploying weapons at seeing the station go under hostile control. The people obviously hired more than internal security for their space station. And they were charging fast.

Meanwhile, Tabitha was resting in the medbay as the machines got to work fixing up her arm much the same way it repaired damaged Engi limbs. Then the AI had messaged her commlink.
"What?" she asked groggily, looking at her hand. It seemed perfectly fine from her perspective, although it might have been the pain medication "Destroy you? What are you doing Captain? I thought AIs don't get drunk..."
Suddenly it dawned on her that something was wrong as she looked at the external cameras. She got to her feet and dashed for the helm "Get us moving! We're sitting ducks!"

"You're not human, Tabitha. You're a drone sent here by someone. I'm not going to let you play dumb."
Quintet counted away 1 more airlock before trying to infest the civilian ships.
"Release the docks! Charge the FTL drive! These civilian ships will just keep coming along with guards - we can't try to destroy them!"
Quintet hurriedly prepared the ship's FTL drive, and hearing Tabitha's warning, overclocked them.
"If we stay here any longer, we're going to be ripped to shreds.. the FTL drive will have to handle this! I'm overclocking them!"
"There isn't good or bad. There's just insane."

"Not Human?" Tabitha asked, pinching her blue skin. "Oh I get it. You think that just because I was genetically engineered for a non-Terran planet that I must not be Human?"
She got the ship moving away from the space station as the lasers and missiles started flying. "The Federation gave me a full physical before I joined. They said I was Human and apart from the gene mods, unaugmented. Look it up in the database."
The scans by the medbay also would have shown the same results. Her interior structure seemed to have some sort of memetic property that made all results apart from an actual look at them appear normal.

As she dismissed those thoughts from her mind as more of the AI's paranoid ramblings, she wondered if that's what caused the station and guards to attack. "Why the hell did you just turn a shopping trip into a fight for our lives? I'm certain the others didn't do it, not even that Zoltan."
And of course, we leave with nothing. Didn't even get to see those catalogues, she thought to herself.

In the confusion, no one was watching just one person, so Kr grabbed a nearby bag and stuffed some strange looking parts and drone pieces into it. He then ran for the ship docks and got on the ship just as Tabitha ran out of the medbay, screaming to charge the ftl drive. Kr ran for the wepons station since there was no one to man it and started to power up the ASB and flack. "Maybe we can look like a civilian ship, blend in with the others? And where's Targon, he should be back by now."

"DON'T LEAVE ME!"

Targon rushed to the ship just as the the doors were closing; thanks to his speedy legs he jumped on in time, performing a smooth roll as the doors slammed shut behind him. Excellent. I knew advanced PT would be worth it. He dashed to the weapons room to find Kr charging the weapons, along with a bag of parts next to him. It was enough to make Targon stop in his tracks and stare for just one second, a tear glimmering in his single eye.
"I owe you one, man." Targon roughly hugged Kr, then sniffed and composed himself, "I have a feeling Tabitha might need a co-pilot, she just got out of the medbay and may feel a little woozy." Targon took possession of the weapon controls and waited for the signal to fire.
I've created Type C Hulls for the enemy Mantis, Slug, Rock, and Zoltan ships, and anyone can use these for a mod.
Check out the details here.
