Rockman Swiftly: The max speed for a rockman, think human slow walking speed. Also imagine the first body of text before the warning goes off.

Kira towards Jake with kind 'eyes'. "The Jake Collins, stealer of the Robin, organiser and commander of the rogue union, saver of lives." Then she whispered in his ear, "Love interest of Sarah and vise versa." She glowed slightly brighter then usual. Kira jumped back into her previous stance. "Your more magnificant in person."
Seidment then waddled in, politely stating, "Sorry I'm late, you know what rockmen are like." He did a slight smile and quickly turned his attention to, supoposedly, the new member of the rogue union. "Hello, you must be who Bren wanted us to meet." He put out his hand for a handshake, not entirely sure how Zoltan greet eachother. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sediment. I think you would've heard of me."
"Ah hello, Sed, I'm Kira." She shaked Sediment's hand back, but she was slightly confused at Sediment's statement. "Uh, no I didn't see you in my visions, or anywhere else, are you important?" Sediment stared at her. He stayed silent. Kira turned to Jake. "Oh right, sorry for not giving you more information." She stepped back closer to Bren, holding his hand. "I'm Bren's long-lost sister as you humans might say. I lost my memory long ago and gained the power to see the future and pasts. Psychic as humans say."

And now, cue station warning.

Warnings set off in the staion that the Scarab and the Mature set off. The Pelican didn't have enough time to dock or Eden didn't trust it enough/didn't want to see Jake. The slug guide and engi bar tender ran onto the Scarab. The engi spoke up, "Scans indicate a slug fleet heading to the station. Status: Hostile. Attempt to at..." The slug interupted. "Oh sshut up. The point is we need to leave now because the fleet iss too powerful for usss."
Sediment had already begun to go back to the Mature. Partly because to get to battle stations but mostly because he didn't want to be at the station when it inevitably blows up.

I would totally love to see Rallath come back, but this zoltan girl will have to do, especially that now she would seem to be great friends with Kira the predicter. Also noticed she has no age.
Also, considering the predictions I have planned, I doubt Jake will think the predictions will be 'cool.'

The slug assault however, was armed with an FTL jammer, making any sort of jump difficult.

Over at the next beacon over, several rebel cruisers lied in wait, in case the slugs failed.

Back in the fight, one of the slug ships hit the station's compressed nebula gas tanks, causing the gas inside them to expand, blotting out the Mature's, the Scarab's and the Pelican's engines and temporarily stopping any jump fields to charge.

Bren was at his pilot seat swearing, "Damn it the gas's are clogging everything up, Kira what are you good at doing, weapons, shielding, engines? Whatever it is you need to get there" he said working his console

Kira was shocked from what was happening and Bren's question snapped her out of it. "Oh, um, I have no idea how to man any systems but I guess I'll help power the weapons. Engines seem useless in this situation so might as well increase fire power." Kira ran to the weapons room and already saw Gorlag there. "Oh, greetings. No time to explain I'll just be here powering the system." Kira recognized Gorlag immediately but figured now is not the time to shove Gorlag out an airlock. She put her hand onto the weapons panel and surged the electricity inside her to power the system.

Sediment got to the helm. He still had no idea how anything on this ship works so he figured he might as well look over the cockpit until Jake gets here. Despite the futuristic technology he could still recognize many of the controls, but he dare not touch anything incase to activates a self destruct sequence or something. What he did notice is that the FTL drive was still charging but very slowly. That's odd, Bren said that his engines weren't charging, then again our engines might as well be doing nothing as well.

The FTL jammer won't work on the Mature, its engines are too advanced for an FTL jammer from this time, but the gas will still have an effect on it.

Kyrie had just stepped off the Mutare, the others in sight when the alarm went off. She spun around immediately and ran back to her station at shields. The ship quickly pulled away from the station, Kyrie pulling up the shields as quickly as she could. Futuristic shields were apparently no match for a fleet of beam weapons. Oxygen, weapons, and enigines were all damaged. Slapping the auto shields button, Kyrie hurried to the oxygen system room and started mending pipes as she felt the rumbles of battle outside. “Jake I think we need to get with the others, we don’t stand a chance by ourselves.”

We should probably wait for Jake Collins to respond before we do anything drastic.

Sediment helplessly looked at the contol panel. Lights flashing, alarms beeping. Sediment didn't know what any of it meant. No, no, no, I'm not dieing today, not today, NOT NOW.

Eden had been on a sort-of station-keeping pattern around the nebula when the fleet arrived in the area. She had dismissed it as an escort fleet that probably turned up the party rather late; she did find the lack of hails suspicious though but this only came to fruition once the gas cloud thickened. "That could have disabled our engines" she said to Lux.

I once had a thief character in an RP who somehow got attacked from behind by a dragon without having a chance to defend myself, hear it coming or anything and the person insisted she was hit at point blank range by dragon fire and melted... really annoying. So yeah I'd like my dodge roll please

Lux said "Do we go in there and swoop in like heroes?"
"That would only cause us to swoop in a straight line and possibly miss all our targets; the clouds would jam our thrusters and prevent us from turning" Eden replied, looking towards the FTL beacon "Considering all these random people jumping into a quarantine zone, the Rebels can't be too far behind."

How a peacefull situation do always turn out to be so dangerous in here , that ship is cured or what ?
