Bren nodded his head and quickly went back to the crews quarters to find Wol and get him over
(and with that we wait for him)

WOL had gotten up and left the room, he had regained enough energy to be able to move around a bit, but he was far from complacent, especially after what occured in the medbay. He paced around the ship, with no real purpose other than to blot out that horrible memory. He reprimanded himself, next time he'd need to stay more vigilant.
He was standing in one of the empty rooms, nothing too remarkable, but it had a great window view. As he stared into the vast cosmic wonder of space, he couldn't help but drift back to that incident no matter how hard he tried.
"Lanford, Alexa, Cyrus..." He said, recanting the names of his former crew members, no, his former family. Just then, Bren entered the room searching for him. "What do you want" said WOL in an irritated tone, he didn't mean to lash out, but he just couldn't stop himself.
Why's WOL acting so edgy? Read my post on page 13 and you can find out.

"We found an engi on the surface he is very hurt and needs a nanite transplant" he said, 'Come on" he said trying to get WOL to follow him back to the med bay

WOL was surprised by this turn of events. "An injured engi!?" He snapped out of his slump, he wasn't going to ignore an injured survivor, no matter how bad he feels. "Right! Let's go!"

And with that Bren led him to the med bay, "Well Captain this is where I leave this job, right now the crew's beds are calling to me" and after saying that he left went to the crew's quarters and plopped on the nearest bed

When WOL arrived at the medbay, Jake ordered Lux to quickly prepare a transplant procedure, or, at least, do the best she could. While Lux was prepping, Jake ripped the power cable out of the Engi's chest. Some of the Engi's nanits had grown up and hardened around it, like a metallic scab. Blue ooz (Some kind of coolant) shot out of the wound, which Jake covered with a bandage.
"Lux, I think his condition has... stabilized." Jake said, sighing as he saw the nanite tissue relax to a normal state. "But we need that transplant, ASAP. Get WOL hooked up."
Jake left the room, and slowly walks to the command room, sinking into the piloting chair.
And here I thought this planet would be a chance to relax. When Lux finished the procedure, she came to meet him. She informed him that the Engi was sedated, but would be healthy enough to speak in a matter of hours.

Once WOL and Bren returned to the medbay, Lux said to Jake, trying to stay positive and happy "My mother said that the process Engies use to heal each other is... very personal. She and the Academy never did tell me the proper procedures for a nanite transplant. I'd be violating the Hippocratic Oath if I did excessive harm; I'm a doctor not a surgeon."
It's not the ancient Hippocratic Oath she follows, but a more "Space Hippocratic Oath" where you're allowed do some harm but nothing like major operations. As in "Don't kill or permanently cripple the patient in order to save them" kind of oath.
She removed a datapad from her bag "Before you tell me that I've technically violated my oath to the Federation, I will be studying up on Engi anatomy so I know I'll be going against my beliefs for the right reasons."
She looked to WOL "You're a better expert on this than I would be."
She went to follow Bren to the crew quarters.
Remember the Engi mating event on how no one knew what it was and only the Engi would... well try to avoid telling you what it was all about? I'm assuming the Engies really didn't tell the Federation about how they all work.

Kyrie had been standing a little ways away from the bed the engi was resting on, watching the whole thing. Jake had been yelling and generally acting hysterical, while everyone seemed to be doing something at once. She felt kind of useless, not knowing anything about engi or medicine. As soon as WOL came in and was going to start a nanite transplant Kyrie left the room, not being one for watching anything where people were opened up.
Jake had gone back to the captain's chair, and Kyrie decided to follow and see what all this meant. She entered the command room: "Uh, Captain? What's this all about with the engi? You said he knew something about your dad?"

Yeah thats what I'm guessing LOL
Bren sighed as he laided on the bed, hearing Lux come in
'So...think they will make it?" he asked

Lux shrugged "I wouldn't know too much about the Engi condition. Your people have been closer allies to them than us Humans."
She flopped down on a nearby bunk and sighed, removing her boots and lying back. "Jake however concerns me more. We've all been hit hard by loss but the way he's acting... it's like he's a father demanding that the doctors save his son over everyone else in the medical ward..."
Her smile broke yet again "But I guess I'm thinking out loud. Mother would tell me all these stories about her residency and the people she had to put up with..."
And yet it wasn't one of her patients that killed her...
She thought back to that incident. She was pulled aside from the mail call to receive a personal message from Federation Fleet Command. She had expected her father, Captain Douglas Jensen to let her know he was coming home soon and it was going to be a momentous occasion. But instead it wasn't him at all, but Admiral Tully in person who was waiting in the Communications Booth. Tully had informed Lux that her mother was serving onboard a medivac cruiser when the Rebels ambushed it and overloaded the engines. No survivors were reported and no prisoners were taken by the Rebels.
"Your father was escorting that cruiser when it happened. Normally in these circumstances, we'd send him home to help you with your loss but we need him and his skills as a Captain on the front lines" Tully explained.
And that was that, Luxanna Jensen was alone...
She looked to Bren again, resuming her cheery attitude "I wonder if there's still some time to bring one of those horses onboard?"
I'm assuming at the start of the war, Admiral Tully is just a low-ranking Admiral who soon becomes Fleet Admiral after the Rebels eliminate all the others.
And considering how Admiral Tully visited the Academy in person to talk to Lux, word probably got around fast that the news wasn't good...
