Kyrie ran forward and helped support the other side of the engi. The two carried the wounded engi back the way they came, to the edge of the forest. Kyrie felt a strange tingling where her skin met the engi, but she thought nothing of it. Eventually they reached Lux, still blocked by the horses.

"Lux stop playing with the alien horses we got an injured engi" Bren called out trying his best to keep him alive, but he was feeling drained, he felt he only had about 10 minutes of spare power before he passes out.

(BTW how do you pronounce the Engi, En-jee, or En-gee with a hard G, I go with the En-Jee)

"...and that's why I'm no longer allowed at Mantis Charlies" Lux said to the horses with her usual laughter. They seemed to understand at least that part and they whinnied in response as if they understood the joke.
As the others approached the area though, the horses backed up before they'd be surrounded by superior numbers. Lux breathed a sigh of relief, dropping her smile for a second...
I thought they'd never leave... she thought to herself, before putting back on her happy face "Looks like someone survived the crash. Get them on the shuttle and to the Medbay."
She expected someone to ask why she wasn't doing anything medical to help out the biomechanical lifeform. "I'm a physician, not a technician. I can't fix machine parts."

"Don't worry I know what we need to do, we need to give them a new injections of Nanites to help with the self repair. And how I know is that I did this sorta thing a lot when I was a slave, I basically would keep hostages alive for ransom..." he said sighing a bit at the memory, "I'm just glad I can use these skills to help someone else in need who isn't gonna be sold off to the highest bidder" he said as they made it to the shuttle

"The medbay can probably do it." Lux remarked, looking to Jake "Can you wake up WOL and let him know he might have to donate nanites or something. I can't remember if Engies had nanite types like blood donors do..."
She then looked for the horses who had blocked her path only to find them galloping off in the distance. "Hey Captain, my Captain, if it's possible, can we bring any of them onboard? I've always wanted a pony since I was five!"

Does the Noninterference Treaty exist? You know from that event where the Rebels try and show space flight to a bunch of primitive lizards and the Zoltan are trying to stop them?

I'd say it does, but the horse event does have the option to bring some on board.

Oh, wonderful. "What? Wasn't WOL in there when we left?" Kyrie rolled her eyes at Lux and shifted her arms a little. She had to hold the engi up more to keep him level with Bren's grip. They walked faster across the open field since there were no obstacles and laid the engi down in the landing craft.

"No Lux, NO!!!" Jake shrieked. He immediately was taken aback when he realized how he snapped at her. "Please, just - pay attention. As Captain, I have to deal with genuinely important stuff. They took the Engi to the medbay at full speed from the drop-ship. It was about 5 minutes travel time to the ship, which Jake used to signal WOL to prepare the medbay, and a nanite transplant.

Jake carried the Engi 'round his back, running through the ship at top speed. He set the Engi on a medical table, where he ordered Lux to do whatever she could to restore the biological elements of the mysterious Engi. Jake then ordered Bren to keep his nanits powered, but Jake could see that Bren was too weak to continue.

"Screw this," Jake said, unplugging the lamp above the medical unit. He noticed that the Engi's nanite tissue was getting softer as it was failing. The magnetic bonds between the nanits are breaking He thought.

Jake found the place where the metallic tissue was the weakest, and with all his might, stabbed the prongs of the electrical plug directly into the Engi. The Engi began to ooz a blue substance from where Jake stabbed him with the plug. Immediately, the Engi's body stiffened, and the tissue became rock-solid. (Stiffer than normal) Especially in the area nearby the plug.

"Never thought I'd be plugging anyone into an electrical outlet on this mission," Jake said, panting. "But hey, It's space. Anything can happen."

As they boarded the shuttlecraft, several of the horses gathered around nearby, watching it with their expressionless eyes. Lux gave them a wave and was surprised when one of them raised a hoof in return.

While dragging the Engi to the medbay, Lux dashed on ahead to look for sedatives and other injections she'd try on the Engi. "For use on Rockmen..." she remarked, examining a large syringe... she had another syringe which had a glow to it "Zoltan Energy Booster. For emergencies only... Bren's not in a critical state... he's just tired..."
Just then there was a zapping sound and a flicker of the lights as Jake had jabbed the Engi with a power cable. "What did you just..." she asked, turning around slowly "Captain?"

Well it's not like he took the Hippocratic Oath... she thought to herself "I can't find any Engi medications in storage... those things have an expiry date as old as a Rockman's uncle so I can't see why they're not onboard..."

Bren leaned against the wall, "So is he gonna make it Captain?" he asked watching them work, he panted a bit, "don't worry about me, I'll be fine, just...let me rest in the crew quarters ok..." he said dragging himself out of the room to the bunk beds

"I HAVE NO IDEA IF... THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA!!! Jake screamed. "SOMEONE SAID HE NEEDED ENERGY, SO LOOK WHAT I GAVE HIM!!! FOR ALL I KNOW, THAT OVERLOADED HIS SYSTEMS AND IT'S KILLING HIM! SOMEONE GET WOL, HE'S THE FREAKIN' ENGI FOR GOD SAKES" Jake was determined to not let this man die. He wouldn't watch anyone else die when he could've done something about it. Not to mention that this guy knew something of his father...
