Space suits are in the game. I got an encounter with a mine that drilled itself into my hull and had to send out a crew member to disable it. He donned a spacesuit and dismantled it for 40 scraps.

The Space Suits idera could work really well with my idea of having Oxygen consumed by crew, and hence the Oxygen power level being important in keeping your crew alive and ship breathable.

Combine that with Spacesuits and if you bought a Spacesuits auygment you could theoretically equip your guys to not only go into teh automated drones, but you could vent your own ship and make boarders have a hell of a time.

Of course boarders may also be wearing suits.,.. which would be a great way to mix up tactics and stop people simply venting rooms all the time.
