Actually, that would either be the Mini Beam, which can hit 3-4 rooms when positioned well for one power, or if you're a cheap shot and don't want to aim the beam, the Dual Lasers on the stealth ship give you 2 damage for 1 power.
Never used the dual lasers, but beams are useless without other weapons, and missiles end up costing tons of money in ammo.
