Another vote for a netbook resolution! 1024x600 needs some love. This game is absolutely perfect for a netbook, Runs great on the Atom 1.6ghz/ intel GMA 950, it just doesnt fit on the screen. Which was my primary reason for buying it :

Get yourselves 12" laptops. FTL fits on the screen and you get a full size keyboard for you non-tiny hands peoples.

I have a 12" laptop. It runs at 1024x768.

More relevant:
While I can play the game, I just need to move the window a lot, it IS playable. That being said, I'd love some resolution options to be added at some point.

Ooooo after googling around (and emailng a unix users group at schol) I found the most awesome program for ubuntu. It's called xrandr.

You can use it to scale or pan a virtual desktop down to your actual screen size. IE do exactly what several have asked for in this thread.

Bah, it doesn't work on my lappy. There's apparently a bug in xorg. :p Ah well.

Yeah, this would be the perfect netbook game... I really hope to see a patch for smaller resolutions.

Another netbook user here - I too would benefit greatly from having this game work in 1024x600. Hopefully it can happen.
