The community would be much bigger, filled with idiots who think that because they read a wiki they are awesome, and the forum would be filled with nothing but "wah this needs a buff/nerf" "zomg so hard" threads...

1. There is a save game option you can use anytime
2. Your ship will not blow up. Instead, the battle will end when you reach 1 hull and you will be teleported to the nearest repair station.
3. You will have an option to purchase a killer missile that will evade drone and 1-shot any enemy ship regardless of shields/evasion/hull. It will cost $.99 to buy one.
4. The end boss will have 10 shields and 200 hull points. Making the DLC necessary to complete the game.

Except for the much bigger part, isn't the rest already happening? =)
