I'm impressed. Most people complain that the first phase isn't all there is of the boss fight.

Eventually you'll not mind. Then you'll appreciate it. Then you'll never see it because it's dead before the 2nd shield can come up.

Their goal was to make a game where you will not win most of the time. Looks like they did there job well. (however not well enough as some players later found it to be... but I guess that's why the engi B and stealth cruisers exist...)

Haha, looks like I have yet to reach that phase. In both of my most recent wins, I've had the Shield come back up again.
