Will there be additional updates...anything added?

I am loving the game so far, have probably made about 20 runs, unlocked the endi and zoltan ships, have yet to beat the game even on easy...was curious if there would be any additional things added?

There are no current plans for DLC or sequels, that’s something they will be deciding on at a later date.

Doesn't seem like there will be anything in terms of any content any time soon. All we know is that 'There are no current plans for DLC or sequels, that’s something we will be deciding on at a later date.'- which seems to have been the answer to questions about any additional content for months now. There haven't been any posts by the developers concerning content in a long time now too, so it seems unlikely anything new will be added any time in the coming months.

Im not even sure they care much on what is going on with the game any longer just as long as the cash is flowing in.

If that were true, the updates would have ceased a long time ago.

On the menu currently, there is one more update (bugfixes and possible additions). If there's anything else, they're keeping quiet about it.

Don't forget that following the game release there was a lot of work that needed to be done to fulfill the kickstarter backers reward requirements. That took time to do.

The entire game was built by two guys, who crunched for months to produce it, and followed that up with several patches to fix bugs and squeeze in some extra features like colorbind mode and individual auto-fire. And let's not leave out all the PR stuff, kickstarter rewards, conventions, and other follow-up stuff during and post-release to help get the word out. Justin and Matthew have shouldered a burden most studios spread among a small team and several departments.
Would extra content be nice? Certainly. But don't begrudge them a little downtime if they need it - lord knows they've certainly earned a breather.
