Yet Another Victory Post (Also Artillery Beam)

So in the tradition of roguelikes, I'll post my victory report (since I never got to post one for ADOM.)

I beat easy (taking a break from normal for a couple games) on my 16th game, and then promptly beat normal the next game with the Federation cruiser.

So is it just me or does that artillery beam make the *** spoilers ahead *** last boss fight almost trivial? All you need to do is turtle up, and wait for the beam to do its thing.

Then again, I must admit I had a teleporter to take care of the missiles and such, and the three ion weapons I found helped a lot.

The final stage, however, was just me frantically trying to put out all the fires on my ship, trying to repair what I can with the hull drone I found and flinching at the super weapon. And the artillery beam took care of the boss for me.

Now that I think about it, I probably got really lucky with the items I found. No stealth, though, which really helps with aforementioned final form.

Congratulations. I bet it on easy once with fed cruiser. The boss destroyed my ship in the last shot though... Without cloak it's just so much harder to survive...
