Into The Breach Archievements Guide <WIP>
Well, to start off this subforum we could go with one of the things players might struggle more with; unlock tokens. The idea is that everyone suggests the ways they did it or think that could be archieved, and anything about them, for it to then be edited in the OP to eventually have an accesible guide for anyone! General guidelines would also be welcome
I'll try starting with the structure (wip as well) and some simple ones:
Sustainable Energy

- A good method to get this one is to do so with the upgrade to Electric Smoke increasing its damage by +1, and apply it in a battle full of weak enemies. For me, the best place to do this is in the bossfight with the "Goo", as it'll divide several times into weaker and weaker versions of itself that are semi mandatory to kill in the mission objective and are well dealt with Smoke, as well as some of the other Vek in the fight.
Perfect Battle
Take no Mech or Building Damage in a single battle with the Rusting Hulks squad (Repaired damage is still damage)
Overpowered
Overpower your Power Grid twice by earning or buying Power when it is full with the Rusting Hulks squad
- The two points of overpowering do not need to be consecutive, so don't be afraid of risking a hit if you'll get it back later. It's pretty easy to get it in a sweep at the first Island's store if you spend all your reputation in more power and have gone for missions awarding it.
This is Fine
Have 5 enemies on Fire simultaneously with the Flame Behemoths squad
Shield Mastery
Block damage with a Shield 4 times in a single battle with the Zenith Guard squad
Cryo Expert
Shoot the Cryo-Launcher 4 times in a single battle with the Frozen Titans squad
Hold the Line
Block 4 emerging Vek in a single turn with the Blitzkrieg squad
- Most likely you'll need to use the Boulder Mech's rock, which can serve as a static blocker added to the rest of your squad.
Healing
Heal 10 Mech Health in a single battle with the Hazardous Mechs squad
Class Specialist
Beat the game with 3 different Mechs from the same class in a Custom squad
Perfect Island
Do not fail any objective on a single Corporate Island

I would say that for the format, group the team achievements together and group the overall achievements by category.

Backup Batteries
Earn or buy 10 Grid Power on a single Corporate Island
- (Treamayne) Go for this when you see you can tackle five regions that all provide power, then you may only need to buy 1-3 power with reputation.
Good Samaritan
Earn 9 Reputation from missions on a single Corporate Island
- (Treamayne) Go for this when you see you can get at least 7 reputation in your five missions (since the boss fight will always be for 2 rep at the end of the island)
Pilot Challenges

- (Treamayne) Just make sure you keep returning the same pilot every game (abandon the timeline if the pilot might die) until you unlock this achievement
- (Treamayne) [suggestion] To make this "more difficult," the achievement should require going to the Final Battle with a single pilot three times in a row

Encounter a familiar face
- (Treamayne) Received with Custom Squad, third Island, First Mission, after the last turn when I clicked "End Turn"
- (Treamayne) Watch for something different in a mountain that has been hit once
Challenge Runs

- (Treamayne) Custom Squad is great for this, as you can choose three mechs with strong enough main abilities that you can get through the first three islands without the modification (avoid mechs like Lightning Mech, that really really want that first mod to be effective). Any squad with Nano Mech stands a good chance at this.
Chronophobia
Finish 3 Corporate Islands and destroy every Time Pod discovered
- (Treamayne) Slightly harder than it seems, since only your deliberate action can destroy a time pod. Using a squad with some "push" abilities helps, since you can push a Vek onto the tile to destroy the pod
- (Treamayne) Avoid "high instance" time pod regions (Defend Train, Defend Refield Bombs, Destroy Dam). If yo usee less pods, it's easier to destroy "all you encounter"
There is No Try
Finish 3 Corporate Islands without failing an objective
- (Treamayne) Avoid "block spawning" regions, as that seems (to me) the easiest objective to fail. RNG loves to get you fighting on one side, then put a spawn outside of everybody's movement range.
Trusted Equipment
Finish 3 Corporate Islands without equipping any new Pilots or weapons
- (Treamayne) Try to do this at the same time as you go for "Chronophobia," since you will have less chance at pilots and weapons anyway.
- (Treamayne) Custom Squad using mechs with good modifications (like Lightning Mech) make it easier to not need new weapons.

Drown 3 enemies in water in a single battle with the Rift Walkers squad
Ramming Speed

- (Treamayne) If you see a chance to buy (or luckily get from a pod/island bonus) the Smoke Pellets (for your Pulse Mech), take them. It makes this achievement much easier.

Kill an enemy by pulling it into yourself with the Zenith Guard squad

- (Treamayne) You will need the "+1 use" upgrade. At the start, put your Laser and Charge mechs next to each other, with the Defense mech at least 1 square away (in line) and use your first action to drop a shield on the Laser and Charge Mechs. They will invariably bump or get hit (you can block a spawn if needed to "use" the shield) and that is half the work. You may even get the chance to use your second shot on the mechs again.
Blitzkrieg
Chain Attack
Have the Chain Whip attack chain through 10 Tiles with the Blitzkrieg squad
- (Treamayne) This is almost inevitable if you are going for the 4 island victory. Once there are enough enemies on a congested map, just look for the opportunity to move a mech and connect groups into a large chain.
Lightning War
Finish the first 2 Corporate Islands in under 30 minutes with the Blitzkrieg squad
- (Treamayne) Avoid unnecessary actions (don't move or repair if you don't have to) and try for "Block Spawning" missions, as the more enemies you block, the less fighting you do and the more time you save.Also, avoid using R.S.T. in your first two islands. There are too many regions with environmental effects that waste a lot of time when trying to earn this achievement.
Hold the Line
Block 4 emerging Vek in a single turn with the Blitzkrieg squad
- (Arnust) Most likely you'll need to use the Boulder Mech's rock, which can serve as a static blocker added to the rest of your squad.
- (Treamayne) One thing to remember about this, is you will likley need to block two spawns in one round to have 4 available to block on the round after it. You can also, sometimes, push a Vek over one of the spawn tiles if Boulder Mech is too far away to move there itself.
Steel Judoka

- (Treamayne) Use Abe Isamu so you have two mechs with armor, and this becomes much easier to earn.

- (Treamayne) Siege Mech is the face of this achivement, but don;t be shy about using Judo Mech and/or Gravity Mech to get at least three enemeis around a single point for Siege Mech to push them all. Great on islands with Blobber or Spider (Spider Leader), since you can push the thrown blobs too.
Flame Behemoths
Quantum Entanglement
Teleport a unit 4 tiles away with the Flame Behemoths squad

Fight on a desert island, on R.S.T.. There, every fight stirs up a storm.
I.e., fight on R.S.T. as your fourth island.

Tip for Quantum Entanglement:
What confuses many players is that the mouse-over graphic explaining the "+2 tiles" enhancement is wrong. It shows a total Teleport of 3 tiles. But the "+2 tiles" enhancement does give you 2 tile more, and not what the graphic shows. So with the original Teleport one tile away, plus the "+1 tile" enhancement, plus the "+2 tile" enhancement, you are able to Teleport 4 tiles away.
