I don't think TheLonelyAI (WOL) wants the part of the mechanic, (s)he didn't say that too clearly. (Sorry TheLoneyAI if I misunderstood)

I saw Chickengames, AKA Kyrie, browsing the thread earlier and didn't say anything - so I assume they don't want the part. Those are the only two options,
because (correct me if I'm silly and forgetting someone) those are the only people with only one part.

Let's just continue with the toolkit, and not the Slug repairman.

While sleeping, Kyrie dreamed of her father. But he was following her everywhere she went. At times she would run away, but every time she looked back he was there. Her friends kept asking who he was, but she couldn't open her mouth. Every time she tried to speak, she couldn't. They kept asking, but she couldn't say anything. Kyrie woke up with her face wet and eyes stinging. She looked up and saw the slug staring at her. Looking away quickly, she wiped the tears off her face and sat up. The moon on her back looked just like the real thing. Too perfect almost. Pulling her shirt back on, she walked out into the main area. Bren was talking to another slug near their ship. She walked past them and sat on the edge of the open airlock. "Sarah? You still here?"

Jake nodded, his expression cold. He walked up to Eden. "We accept your alliance. Here are our terms. Lux will take part in this training, but will remain in contact with MY crew at all times. As soon as she reports danger or being forced to do something, our alliance is broken. You will not kill, or cannibalize any civillians, Feds, or other allies. And, even though you are captain of your own ship, I'm commander of our fleet. You will take orders from me, as commander."

Sarah appeared inside the airlock, unable to sit next to Kyrie because she was just outside of the holographic field. (Kyries legs were dangling out of the airlock)

"Hi Kyrie" She said, eager to meet a new crewmember.

Her bodyguards gave hearty laughs "Don't worry about your girlfriend. She'll be in good hands once you're ready to depart for your mission. Or at least hands who'll know what to do with The Gift" she continued, putting a hand to her ear as a sign of checking the comms "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a bounty to hand in; Dread Pirate Hector is looking for information on his son Tuco..." she patted her midsection "And it seems this guy may have been the one who sold him out..."

Lux looked to Jake "So... I guess we take a look around the station for more allies then I guess, right? Or do we prepare for departure? I don't think that burger was filling enough" she laughed, putting a big smile on her face.
I wonder how my father is handling things...
