Update help

I purchased the standalone version of this game about two years ago and I just found out about the update. I wanted to update it but I can't because it is the standalone version and for some reason. Any suggestions?

Click on the link provided in the e-mail you got after purchasing. Download the new version and install. Et voila!

I used the Humble Bundle link for all of my emails that could've been used but none of them work. Am I SooL?
