Mothership FTL bug

So idk if this was intentional or is a bug but when in last stand I had to go back to the base and get a repair since I just got hammered by all the drones and on the map it said on the next turn the Mothership was flying towards repair just like me so I thought I could repair then fight it but instead when I ftled instantly a message popped up saying Mothership made it to base even though on map it said it was going someplace else

No it's not a bug, it's depend on number of jump, not how far or near the mothership is. They say 4 jumps and mothership is in range means 4 more jump and you're lost. Doesn't matter where it jump.
