every time i launch i crash and get this

so every time i launch ftl now it gets to the loading screen plays the title music for a second and then crashes showing this. does anyone know a solution i have not played long but i played constantly and came to play it again and this happened i have deleted and re installed it but nothing.

When uninstalling the game go to the folder FTL was installed in and delete any files that may still be there.
That error usually appears when the game's database has been corrupted. Mostly this happens when the game is updated to a more recent version but somehow older files get reintroduced into the database. Some mods can cause this problem.
In your FTL folder there is another folder called crashlogs, check if there's any info there, and post it.

Thanks for trying at least. I have two more questions:
Are you playing the Steam version? If so, try using the synchronise cache option, it helps with corruption errors. Not guaranteed to make a difference though.
Did you recently update video or other drivers? There were cases where FTL would no longer work with new hardware or drivers.

and no i didn't change anything with my computer i just went to play again and it didn't work

Yeah something weird is going on. Other people have had a similar problem reported in
this thread. Same story, FTL worked, all was well, now it crashes.

I have found the crash info but it wasn't in the crash logs folder this is what happens
