Several metal shards emerged from the ground and killed the engi and injuring the two rocks. He then emerged from the ground.
"HEY! It's you! I swear I will have my revenge for what you did to Rocky!"
What did I ever do to Rocky? He narrowly avoided the rockman's swings and jabbed him several times.
Wait.. If I just merge with the ground and wait it out, then they'll suffocate to death. He then merged with the ground patiently waiting for them to realize that they're doomed.

You do know Targon is in the room, right? And Mantis don't have as much HP as a Rockman does, so if someone is to suffocate and die first, it's going to be the insect and not the walking rock formations

"Targon, you might want to get out of the weapons room before you suffocate to death. And don't worry about the system: I'll take care of that."

"Heh heh... Boss man says if there is no air, make an airlock..." one of the Rockmen said. With a mighty groan of strength, he began hammering on the doors to force them open while the second Rockman focused on Targon, throwing rocks at him and at the systems.
"I'll handle the squishy one. He'll not last long without air" the second laughed "We Rockmen are superior after all!"

Meanwhile the pirate ship was still shooting at them. Another Leto Missile slammed into the ship, luckily over an empty room. "I have so many missiles!" the Pirate Captain shouted "How many have you got, Federation do-gooders?"
What's taking so long to blast these jokers? Tabitha thought to herself as she arrived at the medbay, only for another Leto to slam into it, sending her to the ground again. The equipment buzzed and sparked but was still operational as she dragged herself to a nearby bed to begin the healing process.

I've had enough of this.
Arkangel suddenly launched himself at the rock beating at the door, his metalloids shifting to the front to ensure maximum damage. Upon impacting the first rockman he lodged himself more, waiting for either the bleeding or lack of air to kill him. Sure enough, he slumped to the ground. He then focused his sights on the second rockman.

Quintet opened up crew chat.
"Open the door. Let the rock in and close the door behind him. This seems like a dumb idea because it is, but it'll work nonetheless. Just trust me."

Arkangel quickly opened the door, shoved the rock in the room, and slammed it shut, soldering it with a part of his metalloid. I don't know what Quintet has in store, but better follow his command than not.
