Great painting, I just hope that human and rockman could kill that mantis.

Do some more, I and many others would love to see some more :D

Very well done! Atmospheric stuff like this is somewhat missing in the otherwise awesome game.

Awesome! Can you tell us more about yourself? Do you have other work on the Internet anywhere? This is pretty impressive.

That is some seriously amazing stuff.

On a lighter note, shouldn't she be wearing a red shirt instead of a green one? ;)

Here's the new one!

A bit more action-e than the last one, went a little nutters with the color. Fun though!
@ blaze 192: I have a site; http://lutzwork.com. I'm a concept artist and occasionally do bits of illustration too. I wish I still had time for games in a bigger way than I do - I've snuck in a dozen or so hours into FTL, but there's a whole stack of games I've been meaning to get to that I'm not sure I will.

cheers!

Aweeeessoooommmeee!!!

These are amazing! Lol I'm guessing a lot of them may well feature fighting off mantis? Seems they had an effect on you, hehe ;)

Also this might seem a random point, but I'm really impressed by the detail you put even into the background! The game, what with its topdown view, doesn't give you a whole lot of detail in this regard, and you probably could have got away with a futuristic/starshipy clean design with not much detail, but you didn't, you really went all out!

Great work again, the background style is very nice, not all shiny and white like Star Trek.
Make sure you always kill mantis, never accept surrender from them. NEVER
