Using the Red-Tail I came across no good weapons. My Mantis died early on, leaving me virtually defenseless. So I came across a ship with two layers of shielding. It had Zoltan shields as well, and two Burst Laser IIs. That meant six laser shots against my default shields and engines. I couldn't even get through its Zoltan shields before it had disarmed me.

Decided I didn't want to play FTL.

Opened all doors.

Died before making a jump.

Yep, except I was using the Stealth B. First ship I met had a beam drone and mini-beam. Goodbye weapons, goodbye engines, goodbye ship.

Board ship and wipe out crew.

Putz around while teleporter is recharging.

"Wait what, why is my teleporter still recharging? It should automatically be full at the end of a battle"

*Asteroid blows up ship with entire crew on it*

I felt so dumb after that.

Started game.

Made first jump.

Got into fight.

Got O2 system destroyed.

Blew up enemy.

All crew suffocated and died because I didn't know how to move them.

Game Over. 110 points.

Played Tutorial.
