This would be kind of a rough bomb equivalent of the antibio beam. when it lands on a room it would take something like 45-50 hp immediate damage and subsequently irradiate the room taking further constant hp damage to crew there in a similar effect to fire or lack of oxygen , thus impeding repairs in the said room the effect would last about 35-50 seconds and hp radiation damage would diminish over time. No species would be immune to the damage and there would be no way to remove the radiation , only wait for it to end.
Would this be a good addition and possible to mod, and if yes what do you think its stats should be to make it balanced?

That's an extremely powerful weapon, so you'd have to make the power/cooldown high to compensate.
Power Req = 3
Cooldown = 24
irradiation duration = 30 seconds
damage to crew = 50
Cost = 80
Maybe have the radiation impact more than one room, AoE around the targeted room.

Is it possible to have a bomb that uses up the oxygen in a room? If so, that'd make a nice bomb. You'd sometimes want to target your own ship with it, too.

Other than using hull breaches, airlocks, or Lanius, it's not possible to drain oxygen.
Basically, you can't drain oxygen via weaponry.

One way to factor balance is to compare it to fire bomb.
For instance, since it's radiation I assume it doesn't affect systems. Nor should it spread beyond the room its set off in.
So upsides:
+ can't get extinguished
+ does more damage over time, including vs rockmen.
+ active in vacuum!
Downsides
-Can't spread to other rooms
-Can't damage systems or hull
So it's basically a more "concentrated" fire bomb. It would synergize extremely well with hacking. It could kill the crew manning flagship weapons easily.
I'd say 2 power, 2 second longer cooldown than firebomb, 5 scrap more expensive.
